Decor

We wanted a big bang from the very beginning, so we set up pink lights covering the front of the house. The neighbors loved it :)

Rissa has inherited a number of Barbies and accessories from her mother. These items were on display in the front entry.

Photobooth and Ken

A photobooth area was set up in the living room. Girls spent the night dressing up and posing for pictures with Ken!

Drinks

All drinks at the party were non-alcoholic. We used simple recipes that could easily incorporate liquor if wanted.

Dollicious--a take off on the Shirley Temple. We filled martini glasses with pink cotton candy, then poured the drink on top--the cotton candy immediately dissolves in the liquid!

Pink Lady--a chilled pink lemonade. We rimmed the glasses in pink sugar crystals for some extra sizzle.

Strawberry Blonde--we blended strawberry ice cream and used shot glass for 'milkshake shooters.'

Beauty Bar

When guests arrived, they were directed first to Barbie's Beauty Bar. Girls got gussied up with makeup, nail polish and false eyelashes.

Dessert Bar

The dessert bar was packed with pink treats!

We used M&M's, animal crackers, chocolate covered pretzels, sugar cookies, white chocolate popcorn, snoballs, wafer cookies and cake pops!
